The Hanover International Industrial Fair "HANNOVER MESSE 2007" (April 16-20, 2007, Hanover, Germany)

On 16–20 April, 2007 scientific developments of Belarusian researchers were demonstrated at the Hanover Industrial Fair — one of largest in the world. Modern engineering and technologies from more than 100 countries all over the world were represented there. The motto and priority of this year is presentation of innovations.
The special attention of the visitors of the Belarusian exhibition has been expressed to developments in the field of processing materials; medicine and medical engineering; ceramic and composite materials; foundry technologies, and also national project on creation of unique favorable environment high-tech developments (Park of High Technologies). By results of the activities at the exhibition more than 50 agreements and protocols on intentions have been signed in the field of scientific research and development of technologies, training and re-training of experts with organizations from Germany, Ukraine, Romania, Ecuador, Turkey, USA, Thailand, Netherlands, India, Canada, Japan etc. Educational programs have been discussed with the representatives of a Higher School of Germany.
Organizations of the Ministry of Education and National Academy of Sciences of Belarus were proposed to join the project of the Royal Institute of Technologies (Sweden) “Baltic Grid Project” as a partners. The purpose of the project is development and association of scientific networks of the countries-participants within the framework of expansion of the All-European computer network GEANT2 for maintenance of the users of scientific and educational spheres of the European countries by computer capacities.
