Seminar on current issues of development and implementation of programs and projects of the Union State

On June 26, in Polotsk, as part of the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, a seminar was held on current issues in the development and implementation of programs and projects of the Union State.

The event was organized by the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the state institution "Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support for the Scientific and Technical Sphere".

Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology Sergei Shlychkov and Head of the Department of Economics and Industry Programs of the Permanent Committee of the Union State Svetlana Ivanova addressed the participants of the event with welcoming words.

Deputy Chairman of the SCST Tatyana Stolyarova in her report paid attention to the role of the Union State programs in the formation of a single scientific and technological space, as well as proposals for improving the mechanisms of their formation.

The speakers focused on the interaction between Russia and Belarus in the field of science and innovation policy, on the state and prospects of scientific and technological development of the Union State, as well as on the distribution of rights to intellectual property in the implementation of programs and projects of the Union State.

The participants of the event got acquainted with the practical experience of developing and implementing such Union State programs as "Technology-SG" (2016-2020 implementation years), "DNA Identification" (2017-2021), "Spinal Systems" (2017-2020), "Component-F" (2022-2026), as well as the importance of this type of program in organizing import substitution in the field of microelectronic element and component base.

More than 100 representatives of scientific organizations of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation took part in the seminar: representatives of 19 major universities, 13 scientific institutes, ministries and departments, as well as industrial organizations of the Republic of Belarus.
