20th international exhibition "Agro, Food, Drink, Tech EXPO"

The 20th international exhibition "Agro, Food, Drink, Tech EXPO" opened today in Tbilisi — one of the key exhibitions in the field of agriculture in the Caucasus region.

The State Committee on Science and Technologies of the Republic of Belarus is the organizer of the collective section of scientific and technical developments. The state institute "Belarusian institute of system analysis and information support of scientific and technical sphere" is the exhibition operator.

The exhibition visitors are presented with 79 developments of scientists from 13 organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and institutions of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. The developments are demonstrated in the form of specimens, models, advertising banners, information posters, presentations, videos, brochures, booklets and other printed materials.

Among the developments of the scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus are presented:

— biopreparation for municipal wastewater treatment — bioactivator for any type of treatment facilities "Antoil+". The preparation can be used as a bio-loading in septic tanks and local treatment facilities, as well as an activator of sludge mixture at existing treatment facilities. Application of bioactivator provides accelerated decomposition of organic matter (State scientific institution "Institute of Microbiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus");

— low-protein food products with reduced phenylalanine content. These products are represented by low-protein pasta, mashed potatoes, potato dumplings, porridges (Republican Unitary Enterprise "Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on Food");

— biodegradable bagging machine for high-speed packaging of pre-prepared vegetables and fruits in biodegradable paper packaging (Republican Unitary Enterprise "Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on Mechanization of Agriculture").

The most interesting developments of the institutions of the Ministry of Education at this exhibition:

— Biopreparation "Biferon-MPC". Biopreparation "Biferon-MRS" has no domestic and world analogues and is a universal means for prevention of immunodeficiency, stress conditions, treatment of infectious diseases of small ruminants (goats, sheep, etc.). The use of the biopreparation together with other veterinary means allows reducing the consumption of antibiotics, reducing the number of relapses and the duration of diseases (Belarusian State University);

— Dome structures for agricultural purposes, which are used in the construction of sheds, outbuildings, sectoral warehouses of bulk agricultural products, fencing structures of feed mills, greenhouses, poultry farms, fruit and vegetable storages, verifarms for biohumus production (Belarusian National Technical University);

— Dry mixes for the production of flour products (bakery products, muffins, pancakes, pies). Dry mixes are powdered products that are received by mixing the products of cereals, milk, eggs, fruits and vegetables, phytocereals, freeze-dried microorganisms (lactic acid bacteria, bifidobacteria, yeast cells). They are used in food industry enterprises, public catering facilities, and at home (Belarusian State University of Food and Chemical Technologies).
