Republican informational and educational campaign "Belarus — energy-efficient country"

In order to implement the provisions of the Directive of the President of the Republic of Belarus of June 14, 2007 № 3 "On the priority directions of strengthening the economic security of the state", the Law of the Republic of Belarus of January 8, 2015 № 239-Z "On energy saving", as well as in connection with the International Energy Saving Day on November 11, 2022 the Department of Energy Efficiency holds a national information and education campaign "Belarus — energy efficient country" from 8 to 11 November. The motto of the action is: "In a united movement to the better!".

The Department of Energy Efficiency organizes a number of thematic events for the International Energy Saving Day: round tables and training seminars — for specialists; open lessons, information hours, intellectual games, contests and quizzes — for children and youth; mini-contests — for subscribers in social networks; direct phone lines — to answer the most urgent questions of citizens and organizations; interviews, press tours to energy-efficient enterprises, press conferences — for the media.

The main goal of all events is to jointly draw attention to energy efficiency and energy conservation, to popularize the economic, environmental and social benefits of an energy– and resource-efficient lifestyle, and to strengthen the energy independence of our country in an accessible form for a wide range of citizens.
