The exhibition "Intellectual Belarus. Regions"

The exhibition of scientific and technical achievements "Belarus Intellectual. Regions". Residents and guests of the city can see the latest developments and achievements of Belarusian scientists in IT-technologies, robotics, innovative instrumentation, electric transport, defense and military science, ecology, nature management, biotechnology, pharmacy, health care, and agro-industrial complex.

Enterprises of the region present more than 40 projects. Among them are the developments of JSC "Vityaz", JSC "Vitebsk factory of electric measuring instruments", research and production firm "Dipol", LLC "Resourcecontrol", LLC "E-PAUER", UE "Factory "Spectrum Packaging", LLC "Belkarolin", "VIK — Animal Health", confectionery factory "Vityba".

The State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus presents a section of scientific and technological developments in the thematic block "Commercialization of developments. The samples selected for the exposition as well as in the form of videos illustrate the role of the SCST and its subordinate organizations (GU "BelISA", NCIS, RSTB, Belinfond) in creation and commercialization of scientific developments.

This block also presents the developments of BNTU Science and Technology Park "Polytechnik", Polotsk State University Science and Technology Park and Vitebsk Technopark.

The Scientific and Technological Park BNTU "Polytechnic" presents a number of medical products:

arterial stents: peripheral and coronary stents designed to widen the lumen of peripheral arteries and/or arterial/venous shunts for patients with symptoms of coronary insufficiency;

Aortic stent-graft, endovascularly implanted, designed for the treatment of descending aortic aneurysms/dissecting aneurysms;

a biological heart valve endoprosthesis designed for implantation in the surgical treatment of congenital and acquired aortic heart valve defects. The valve consists of flexible locking elements made of bovine pericardium with a supporting metal frame. By its design features the prosthesis provides functional consistency of natural aortic heart valve, has high reliability, cyclostability and durability during the whole service life;

a set of medical devices for immersion osteosynthesis, providing reliable stabilization of bone fragments for fractures and non-unions. The implant material is fully biologically and mechanically compatible with human tissues;

device for emergency external fixation of the pelvis and long tubular bones. This device is effective in emergency situations for temporary stabilization in severe soft tissue injuries, pelvic ring fractures and ruptures, to reduce the effects of trauma during transportation of the victim to the place of hospital treatment;

Knee endoprosthesis. Advantages of the development: the endoprosthesis is made in different sizes; functional capabilities correspond to the best world analogues; it has a significantly lower cost in comparison with analogues.

Among the developments of the Polotsk State University Science and Technology Park are presented:

LED controlled luminaire designed to work as a part of lighting systems based on a distributed wireless network;

lighting fixture control controller, which allows upgrading the existing lighting systems to enable individual control of lighting fixtures.

Of particular interest is the online management system of intelligent cottage settlement (apartment buildings). This system is a web-interface for maintenance of residential complexes. Supported functions: billing and control over the status of your account; ordering passes; communication with residents and administration; ordering services; administration; notification of users.

The resident of Vitebsk Technopark — LLC Group of Companies "Resource Control" — presented a navigation terminal (GPS-tracker) RC basic and related equipment (fuel level sensor, fuel flow sensor, weighing equipment, autopilot, direction finder). The navigation terminal is an electronic device controlled by a microcontroller. The product is designed to receive GNSS navigation signals and determine navigation parameters of the vehicle (geographic coordinates, speed, etc.), record and store the data in non-volatile memory and transmit it to the server (to the control center) via GSM channels, as well as to work from the vehicle's onboard network with a rated voltage of 12 or 24 V.


The exhibition will run until March 5. Admission is free for visitors.
