Announcement of exhibitions for October-November 2008

National Exhibition of Belarus "Belarus-2008" in Kiev
(7-10 October, 2008, Ukraine)

On 7-10 October, 2008 in Kiev the National Exhibition of Belarus “Belarus-2008" will be held. It’s aimed at strengthening the image of Belarus, disseminating information about industrial, S&T and trade potential of the country, establishing and expanding the partner relations. The Exhibition has got an universal character. There are no restrictions in the nomenclature of production exposed.

According to the Plan of national exhibitions (expositions) of the Republic of Belarus for 2008 approved by the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus N 171 of 8 February, 2008, and also the Plan of international actions of the State Committee for Science and Technology of Belarus for 2008 the SCS&T has started organizing a thematic section of S&T developments at the Exhibition mentioned. Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of S&T Sphere is entrusted with its preparation. 13^th International Specialized Exhibition
“Power. Ecology. Energy Saving. Electro-2008”
(14-17 October, 2008, Minsk)

The State Committee for Science and Technology of Belarus (SCS&T) has started organizing a collective section of S&T developments at the 13^th International Specialized Exhibition “Power. Ecology. Energy Saving. Electro-2008” which will take place in Minsk on 14-17 October, 2008. The Exhibition is held in accordance with the Order of the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Belarus of 29 May, 2008 N 68ð, and also the Plan of international actions of the SCS&T for 2008. Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of S&T Sphere is entrusted with the preparation of the S&T section.  

Within the framework of the Exhibition the XIII Belarusian Power and Ecological Congress is going to be held. 

The basic directions of the Exhibition and Congress are as follows:

• power;
• energy saving;  
• ecology;
• expo city;
• electronics;
• atomic energy;
• water and air technologies;
• house and municipal services;
• illumination of objects and industrial illumination, etc.

National Exhibition of Belarus in Dubai
(3-6 November, 2008,  United Arab Emirates)

According to the Plan of national exhibitions (expositions) of Belarus abroad for 2008 approved by the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus N 171 of 8 February, 2008, and also the Plan of international actions of the State Committee for Science and Technology of Belarus for 2008 the SCS&T has started organizing a thematic section of S&T developments at the National Exhibition of Belarus in Dubai (United Arabian Emirates) which is planned for 3-6 November, 2008. The organization of the Exhibition is envisaged by the Protocol of orders of Belarus President A.Lukashenko of 12 June, 2007 N 19 given by the results of his official visit in this country.

National exposition of Belarus at the Chinese International Industrial Fair
(4-8 November, 2008, Shanghai, China)

According to the Plan of national exhibitions (expositions) of Belarus abroad for 2008 approved by the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus N 171 of 8 February, 2008, and also the Plan of international actions of the State Committee for Science and Technology of Belarus for 2008  Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of S&T Sphere on behalf of the SCS&T has started organizing a thematic section of S&T developments within the framework of the National exposition of Belarus at the Chinese International Industrial Fair CIF-2008. It will take place in Shanghai, China on 4-8 November, 2008.

The Chinese International Industrial Fair is one of the leading global exhibition platforms in South-East Asia. It’s actively used by businessmen of many countries for progressing their goods, services and developments in the global markets, and also for developing cooperation.  It’s traditionally visited by officials, businessmen and diplomats. During the last years Belarus regularly took part in this action. The basic purpose of Belarus participation in the Fair is presenting its industrial, S&T, petrochemical, power, and also construction potential.

VII National Exhibition of Belarus "BelarusExpo-2008" in Riga
(12-15 November, 2008, Latvia) 

On 12-15 November, 2008 in Riga, Latvia the VIIth National Exhibition of Belarus in Latvia "BelarusEXPO-2008" will be held. The purpose of the forthcoming exhibition and conference is the further development of economic, S&T and cultural cooperation between Belarus, Latvia and other Baltic countries. Within the framework of the Exhibition and conference it is offered to consider the issues of S&T and economic cooperation, customs and tax regulation of the mutual turnover, development of frontier trade, role of banks in the trade, development of transit transportations and other problems of economic cooperation.
