Third Belarusian Space Congress to be held in Minsk on October 23-25
The Third Belarusian Space Congress will be held in Minsk on October 23-25, BelTA learnt in the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences.
According to specialists, the purpose of the event is to determine priority areas of cosmic research, to boost international sci-tech cooperation, to find investors to sponsor Belarusian space projects. Attending the congress will be scientists of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, and other CIS countries.
The agenda of the congress includes reports on communications, television and satellite navigation, satellite and ground equipment, applied space technologies, satellites and transmit/receive equipment. Attendees of the congress will also discuss development of modern materials and software systems for space gear. “The discussion will help scientists enrich their knowledge and exchange experience with their counterparts from other countries,” specialists noted.
The Third Belarusian Space Congress is organized by the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences and the National Space Council under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.
