Developments of Mogilev scientists receive silver at Moscow salon of innovations and investments
Developments of scientists of Belarusian-Russian University (Mogilev) were awarded a silver medal at the 8th Moscow international salon of innovations and investments. The salon is a unique scientific-technical forum of inventors, developers and producers of high-tech products, investment projects in sci-tech sphere and industry.
The development of the Mogilev inventors — mechanical alloyed nanostructure powders for spattering was awarded the prestigious medal, BelTA learnt from 1st Pro-Rector of Belarusian-Russia University Fedor Lovshenko. These powders can be used on various metal surfaces and alloys and also in nuclear energy.
According to specialist, it is the fourth silver received by scientists of the university at Moscow forums.
During the recent 7-8 years, Belarusian-Russian University has paid a great attention to research work. Annually the financing of the research programmes grows by 20-30%. In 2007, the university invested Br3,7 billion in various research projects. “We try to set not abstractive but concrete tasks and to settle them for the benefit of science and production,” Fedor Lovshenko noted.
