Minsk to host forum on scientific-innovation development of Belarus and Latvia


On December 18-19, Minsk will host a forum on scientific-innovation development of Belarus and Latvia.

As BelTA learnt from the administration of the Tech-Park of the Belarusian National Technical University Metolit, the forum is aimed at boosting cooperation between scientific organisations and establishments of Belarus and Latvia. Participants of the forum will discuss the main areas of the further research work, will consider urgent problems of scientific-innovation development of the two states and will share information about scientific developments. The best works of the Belarusian and Latvian scientists will be presented at the forum.

The conference will also promote scientific, commercial and production links between scientists of both the countries. Research organisations of Belarus and Latvia are expected to sign new cooperation agreements.

The forum will be organised by the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Latvian Republic, the Belarusian-Latvian Technology Transfer Centre and the Tech-Park of the Belarusian National Technical University Metolit.
