Belarus, Slovakia to discuss energy matters

The energy issues including the use of alternative energy resources will highlight a Belarusian-Slovak international conference in Minsk on 19 April, BelTA learnt from the Embassy of Slovakia to Belarus.

The experts of the two countries will look into the Slovak experience in continuous power supply, a possibility of applying equipment of Elteco, one of the leading electric companies in Slovakia, to generate energy from alternative resources: biogas out of waste dumps, treatment facilities, biogas units. Besides, the participants of the conference will consider an opportunity of on-the-job training for students of Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University in the universities of Slovakia.

The organizer of the event is the Elteco Company with the participation of Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University and the Slovak Embassy in Belarus.
