The 17th international forum Tibo 2010 will be held in Minsk on 20-23 April, BelTA learnt from organizing committee of the forum.

Tibo 2010 will showcase telecommunications equipment, infocommunications services, banking, finance technologies, security systems. The forum includes TORG IT 2010 specialized exhibition (trade and services). The exhibition will showcase Tusson, Ramok, BelKristallService, Profiserv and other companies. The design and construction of telecommunication network will be displayed by Minsktelecomstroi, Belsvyazstroi and Gyprosvyaz. The services of e-government including information and analytical systems will be presented by the Minsk City Executive Committee, the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, the Belarus National Cadastral Agency and others.

Grigory Bondarev noted that on 21 April a plenary session of the 17th congress on telecommunications, information and banking technologies will be held within the framework of the forum. The congress will include specialized conferences “IT in trade and services”, “Technologies and services of broadband access”, “Television and multimedia technologies” and also specialized seminars “Geoinformational and navigation technologies and systems”, “Informatization of Belarus’ culture: state and prospects”.

Tibo international forum has been held under the auspices of the Belarusian Communication and Information Ministry since 1994. Tibo international exhibition and congress promote the development of the informatization processes in Belarus. The forum is organized by the Communication and Information Ministry, the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences, the Belarus State Committee for Science and Technology, the State Centre for Information Security, the National Bank of Belarus, the Minsk City Executive Committee, the Information Society Association, the Association of Belarusian Banks, the Belarusian State University, the Belarusian National Technology University, the Belarusian State University of Computer Science and Radioelectronics, the Technology and Communications Company.
