The Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will hold international research conference “Informational and Educational Strategies in Modern Society: National and Global Context” in Minsk on 12-13 November, BelTA learnt from organizers of the forum.

The conference will be organized within the framework of the World Philosophy Day under the aegis of UNESCO. The main goal of the conference is to unite the efforts of the humanitarian society of Belarus and its neighboring countries for the search of new efficient mechanisms of the educational work. The conference will organize the work of the special section “Strategies of Tolerance: From Science to Everyday Life” which is timed to the International Tolerance Day (16 November).

Participants of the conference are set to discuss serious and important goals including the humanization of the modern information technologies, the analysis of correlation of the morality with the economic progress, the influence of policy and religion on the public processes, other issues.

Taking part in the conference will be more than 240 scientists, professors, public officials and statesmen from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Slovakia, Switzerland and France.
