Republican Center for Technology Transfer joins American AUTM network

The Republican Center for Technology Transfer (RCTT) of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) became the first organization from the EurAsEC countries to join the Association of University Transfer Managers (AUTM), BelTA learnt from the NASB press service.

The association provides its members with an electronic platform for posting and searching technology offers, requests and “success stories”, free access to four-volume “AUTM technology transfer guidelines” and statistical database STATT. In addition, members of the association receive an annual performance review of licensing and other research activities, biennial reports on salaries of technology transfer professionals, information about professional training courses and events. The Republican Center for Technology Transfer has got access to peer-reviewed journals and newsletters, AUTM Handbook, electronic platform for search of specialists and work in the field of technology transfer.

AUTM is a non-profit organization that was founded in the United States in 1974 by 75 organizations in order to facilitate commercialization of technologies developed with the financial assistance of the government. Now the association unites more than 3,400 professionals worldwide who work for academic, research, government and commercial organizations. AUTM aims at facilitating technology transfer through networking and communications.
