The results of the 10th International Competition of energyefficient and resourcesaving technologies and equipment were summarized within the Belarusian Industrial Forum of 2013 (May 15-18, 2013). 45 organizations and enterprises of Belarus and Russia participated in the competition which presented 55 projects to the jury. Key nominations of the competition correspond to the categories of the expositions of the 17th international exhibition “Belpromenergo” of the Belarusian Industrial Forum 2013. They are:

  • PROMEXPO, industrial technologies and engineering products, instrumentation products, metallurgy products, products of electrical and technical, optical-mechanical and electronic industries;
  • PROMENERGO, industrial technologies of the fuel and energy complex;
  • ENERGY-SAVING, energy-efficient and resource-saving technologies used in industry, energetics, construction, urban and housing and communal services;
  • SCIENCE AND INNOVATION, research and development and innovation projects.

The places of the nomination “Industrial Technologies and Engineering Products, Instrumentation, Metallurgy, Electrical Engineering, Optomechanical and Electronic Industries” were distributed as follows: JSC «BELAZ", the  managing company "BELAZ-Holding" (the introduction of technology and equipment for surface thermo hardening based on fiber optic laser) was awarded the 1st place, the JSC "Mogilevliftmash" (passenger elevators without machine room) was awarded the 2nd place, the JSC “MMW named after Vavilov”, the managing company of the holding “Belomo” (development and implementation of large-scale production of the lineup of household diaphragm gas meters).

The places of the nomination “Industrial Technologies of the Fuel and Energy Complex” were distributed as follows: the OJSC “Belenergoremnaladka” (industrial water treatment plants) was awarded the 1st place, the RUE "Beltei" (contact-surface water heater) was awarded the 2nd place, the JSC “MZOR” (double-punching peat briquette press) was awarded the 3rd place .

The places of the nomination “Energy-Saving Technologies in Industry, Energy, Construction, Urban and Housing and Communal services” were distributed as follows: "BMZ", managing company of the holding “GCB” (development and implementation of energotechnological modes of operation of arc furnaces) was awarded the 1st place; the factory of reinforced concrete bridge structures, the branch of "Dorstroyindustriya" (energy-saving technology of manufacture of plates tramways) was awarded the 2nd place; the NUE “Belorusneft” (a high-tech station, Dobrush str., Gomel) was awarded the 3rd place.

The places of the nomination “Research and Design Development and InnovationProjects” were distributed as follows:  the Gomel State University named after Skaryna (the technology of application of composite coatings based on carbon) was awarded the 1st place;

the Belarusian State Technological University (the technology of production of technical kinds of paper and board saving raw materials) was awarded the 2nd place; the Gomel State Technical University named after P. Sukhoy (adaptive hardening stamping tool by creating pseudohardmetal layers of rapid machining steel).

One of the goals of the competition is to increase the production of energy-saving and resource-saving products, as well as the development and implementation of science-intensive energy-saving and resource-saving and environment-friendly technologies in Belarus.
