The seminar and exhibition was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, «Belmedtehnika» Enterprise, innovation promoting organizations, companies engaged in developing and producing the medical technique, as well as potential investors. Over 150 researchers, developers, post-graduate students, public servants and other experts took part in the event. The workshop was launched by A. Osipov, First Vice-Rector, Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio Electronics. In his opening speech he stressed that the three technologies would shape the technological structure of society: information technologies, nano– and biotechnologies. Thus, it is important to analyze how the technology basis of the medicine will be developing and new nano— and biotechnologies will be introduced in the health care. He wished the participants a success in the development and application of the new technologies. The participants have been welcomed by Yu. Demidchik, Rector of the Belarusian Medical Academy of Post-Graduate Education. The speakers at the events were:
By the results of the seminar, the participants have stated the need for more effective implementation of Belarusian S&T developments in the various sectors of the national economy and promoting them in the foreign markets. Photos
