Republican Seminar "Technoparks: Problems, opportunities and Development Prospects" (November 17, 2023, Minsk)

On November 17, 2023, the republican seminar "Technoparks: problems, opportunities and development prospects" will be held.

Venue: Minsk, hotel "Belarus", st. Storozhovskaya, 15, small conference hall (1st floor).

The format is offline.

Participation in the seminar is free.

The purpose of the seminar is to explain the main approaches to tax incentives for technology parks and their residents, and to resolve issues that arise in the activities of technology parks as subjects of innovation infrastructure.

We invite representatives of technology parks, republican government bodies, and other interested parties to participate in the seminar.

The holding and organizational and technical support of seminars is carried out by the department of scientific and methodological support of innovative development of the State Institution "BelISA".


RESULTS

On November 17, 2023, a republican seminar "Technological parks: problems, opportunities and development prospects" was held at the Belarus Hotel.

Opening the event, on behalf of the organizers, Denis Leonidovich Korzhitsky, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, addressed the seminar participants with a welcoming speech.

Sources of support for business projects of technology parks and their residents were discussed in the report of Pyotr Borisovich Arushanyants, General Director of the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs.

Measures to support technology parks were presented by Andrey Pavlovich Bobovich, director of the state enterprise Agency for Development and Investment Promotion.


The organization of the use of the technology park innovative development fund to provide services to residents and support the implementation of innovative projects was considered by Evgeniy Sergeevich Malchevsky, director of InKata LLC.


The seminar participants also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the application of practices for ranking science and technology parks in the Republic of Belarus (speaker — Dmitry Georgievich Makaruk, director of Brest Science and Technology Park CJSC).


The audience was also presented with reports on the following topics:

Assessing the efficiency of technology parks and their residents; reporting by technology parks (speaker — Vladimir Aleksandrovich Davidovich, director of Minsk City Technology Park LLC).


Patents as a tool for commercializing the results of scientific and technical activities (speaker — Galina Vasilievna Vashuk, patent attorney of the Republic of Belarus, deputy director of ALC "Lexpatent").


Strengthening the potential of technology parks in the field of commercialization of the results of scientific and technical activities (speaker — Nechepurenko Yuri Vasilievich, head of the scientific and innovation department of the Research Institute of Physical and Chemical Problems).


Dmitry Marianovich Krupsky, Deputy Chairman of the Kunyavsky Belarusian Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers, spoke about the initiative of the BSP to create an association for the development of innovative infrastructure and innovative entrepreneurship entities).


The seminar was attended by 33 people from 22 organizations: representatives of technology parks, other subjects of innovation infrastructure, higher educational institutions, the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus and other interested parties.
