International exhibition Nuclear Energy 2008 opens in Minsk on February 12

The international specialized exhibition Nuclear Energy 2008 opened in Minsk on February 12. The company Belinterexpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the organizer of the event, BelTA learnt in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The main goal of the forum is to acquaint the Belarusian public and the specialists who will be engaged in the construction of the nuclear power plant in Belarus with the world experience of development, setting up and operation of nuclear power plants.
Attending the exhibition are companies and organizations from Belarus, Germany, Russia, Ukraine and Sweden. In particular, more than 30 organizations of the Russian nuclear branch are participating in the forum. The Russian exposition occupies around 350 square meters. It is showcasing the possibilities of the nuclear energy industrial complex of the Russian Federation. During roundtables, the leading specialists engaged in the field of nuclear power industry will make reports. Leaders of Rosatom and companies of other countries are expected to hold a briefing for mass media.
The forum will be running through February 15.
