Republican Technology Transfer Centre opens representative office in Shanghai

Republican Technology Transfer Centre of Belarus opened a representative office in Shanghai, BelTA was informed in the centre.

The representative office will render assistance to research and design organisations as well establishments of higher education of Belarus and China in studying highly efficient achievements in the sphere of science and engineering.

Moreover, the office will help them in exchanging scientific and technical developments and will provide intermediary services in establishing business links between the Belarusian and Chinese companies and organisations.

According to the source, at the end of August of the current year the centre was visited by a delegation of the Scientific-Technical Exchanges Centre of the People’s Republic of China. The visit was arranged within the framework of the project “Scientific and Technical Cooperation between Republican Technology Transfer Centre and the Scientific-Technical Exchange Centre of the People’s Republic of China”. During the meeting specialists of the two countries considered further cooperation prospects. In 2008 they intend to intensify the process of exchanging scientific-technical information, to promote partnership between Belarusian and Chinese companies and to organize several seminars.
