In Minsk the International Scientific Congress has passed

On 22-24 November, 2006 the International Scientific Congress “Scientific and Methodical Maintenance of development of informatization and system of S&T information in the Republic of Belarus. Safe telematic applications in the projects of national and international level” has passed. It was organized by the National Centre of Information Resources and Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Italian Institute of Technologies (Rome-Genoa, Italy) and High National School of the Engineers (France) with assistance of Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, State Committee for S&T and several other republican bodies of state management and organizations within the framework of the annual Week of Information Technologies. Among the large foreign companies which have rendered assistance to the Congress were Hewlett-Packard, Cisco Systems, SAP C.I.S. LLC, Microsoft, IBA and EPAM Systems.

Participants of the Congress have shown technologies for the purposes of information and communication safety, have discussed the ways of their introduction, and also have familiarized with the newest developments in this area. Information about the activities of the Park of High Technologies, creation of a corporate librarian network in Belarus on the base of the National Library, realization of e-government technologies.
