Belarusian scientists will present their developments at the international exhibition in St.-Petersburg

Tamara Serkova, the head of the Department of international S&T cooperation of the State Committee for Science and Technologies of Belarus has informed that the best S&T developments will be presented by universities and research organizations of Belarus within the XIV International Exhibition – Congress “High Technologies. Innovations. Investments” which will take place on 22-25 September, 2008 in St.-Petersburg.

For the participation in the Exhibition the following R&D organizations have registered: Belarusian State University, Belarusian National Technical University, Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Scientific and Practical Centre of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on Material Sciences, Technopark “METOLIT”of BNTU, Institute of Metals Technology, Institute of Powder Metallurgy an several others. The visitors will get acquainted with Belarusian S&T developments in the field of alternative power, nano— and biotechnologies, medicine, airspace technologies, ecology, and also IT-technologies.

During the Exhibition a competition for the best innovative project and best S&T development of 2008 will be organized.  Belarusian participants have sent to this competition over 40 applications.
